15 Product Description Examples for Clothes, Bags and Accessories

A useful product description tells a buyer what the item is, whether it suits their needs and what they will receive. These product description examples for clothes, bags and accessories give you a starting point for your own online shop.

Every example below is fictional. Replace bracketed details and verify every material, measurement, care instruction and delivery promise before publishing. These are writing templates, not offers or claims about products sold by Waabot.

A product-description template you can reuse

[Product name]
[One sentence explaining the item and its intended use.]
Material: [verified material].
Size or dimensions: [measurements and units].
Options: [available colours or sizes].
Included: [what the buyer receives].
Care: [supplier-approved instructions].
Preparation time: [time before dispatch, if applicable].

Keep the price and stock in the shop’s price and inventory fields. If you repeat those details in the description, remember to update both places. A “premium” label cannot replace facts a customer needs to make a choice.

Before and after: replace praise with useful details

Before: “Quality bag. Very classy. Best price. Order now.”

Better structure: “Everyday tote in [material], with [closure] and [pocket details]. Measures [dimensions]. See available colours and the current price in this listing.”

The second version helps someone decide whether the bag meets their needs. Add a benefit only when the product details support it. For example, an interior zipped pocket can be described as a place to keep small items together; it does not justify a claim that the entire bag is theft-proof.

Put the description in your Waabot shop

Check every listing before publishing

  • Remove all brackets and unused template fields.
  • Use the actual material and measurements, with units.
  • State exactly what is included and any known condition issues.
  • Separate preparation time from delivery time.
  • Make the description match the photos, price and stock.
  • Read it on a phone and remove repeated or irrelevant wording.

You do not need to repeat a keyword in every sentence. Use the ordinary product name and the details buyers would search for. Avoid copying another shop’s descriptions.
